The Children Strike Back

For those of us who need a little kick in the pants when it comes to doing something…anything…to mitigate our carbon footprint, I have culled YouTube for….

Messages from the Future Future Future Future

But I couldn’t find anything. So I settled for the next best thing – children.

What are the kiddies thinking these days when it comes to global warming, bleak future, hope through action, etc? Sit back, watch and listen…. If anything grabs you, please send it around to your contacts. Spread the message.

Severn Suzuki speaking at UN Earth Summit 1992
Way back in 1992, twelve year old Severn Suzuki did something remarkable. She asked to speak to the world delegates who had gathered at the Rio Summit on climate change, which would put in motion the Kyoto Protocol. Angry Kid
Oddly, this Greenpeace advertisement smacks of Bush’s ‘you’re either with us or you’re against us’ swagger. This kid is definitely angry. Angry enough to hunt you down and kill you if you don’t do something now about global warming (of course if you read my blog and follow its advice religiously you’ll have enough ammo to talk this angry person down). If you need a good threat to get you motivated, I suppose ad this is for you. Yikes.
